well my birthday was in november and not only did i get a nice cake next to my name but everytime i loaded a page here it palyed happy birthday to me. =)

actually, no one knew/knows my birthday except for a very few people. last year not only did i not get a cake next to my name but i got nothing in real life. well, someone did send me that song which was super cool but other then that, zilch, nada, nothing. =(

Yeah, for the most part I do keep my birthday low key. It has nothing to do with not wanting people to know my age, but everything to do with my choice in going through life somewhat lowkey and liking people to not make a big deal about me or the things I do. Only people I am close to do I like to know my birthday, because it does mean a great deal to me, and I insist on spending it with the people I do care a great deal about.

That tells ya something about what I think about this joint and some of the people on it. Yeah, it's only a message board, but after 6+ years, some of the folk you kind of get to know and they actually become a part of your life, even if they have always only been smart-assed comments in a thread such as this.
